Dose-Adjusted Graphs and Tables

MedAlerts is able to make graphs and tables that show the number of VAERS reports per dose of vaccine administered. This happens when you select the dose-adjusted graphing and tabulating factors: Vaccines (dose-adjusted) and Year of Vaccination (dose-adjusted). Note that these special factors are available only in Expert Mode.

For example, if there are 1,000,000 doses given, and 500 VAERS reports, then the per-dose ratio is 500 / 1,000,000 = 0.0005 VAERS reports per vaccination.

This page shows the dosage data used by MedAlerts, by vaccine and year. It is public data, obtained from the CDC. The CDC gets these figures by taking the number of doses manufactured and subtracting the number of doses returned (thus, it is the net doses). Of course, this is not necessarily the number of doses actually given, but it is the closest figure available.

CDC Disclaimer:
"These data were provided by the majority of vaccine manufacturers by type of antigen and year of distribution. These net distribution figures are only estimates and serve as approximate denominators for reporting rates of adverse events in the absence of data regarding actual number of doses administered. Net distribution figures represent the total doses distributed by vaccine type during the period, less returned doses. The reporting rates must not be interpreted as incidence rates because whether the vaccine caused the adverse event was uncertain. The adverse event might have occurred by chance after vaccination. In addition, substantial and variable underreporting occurs, and uncertainty exists regarding the actual number of doses administered."
