CDC 'Split Type':

Write-up: Patient developed bilateral facial weakness starting on 4/3/2021, progressed over the course of five days until she presented to the emergency department on 4/8/2021. Exam with bilateral CN VII palsy and lower extremity areflexia. MRI brain shows enhancement of bilateral CN VII and VIII. Suspect GBS, treating with IVIG.
