Write-up: HALLUCINATION; NUMBNESS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF BODY; UNABLE TO SPEAK; HEADACHE; CONDITION WORSENING EVERYDAY; UNABLE TO EAT; LOSING WEIGHT; SLEPT FOR 3 CONSECUTIVE DAYS; WORDS SPEAKING DOES NOT MAKE SENSE; FELT VERY TIRED; This spontaneous report received from a consumer concerned a 35 year old male of unspecified race and ethnicity. The patient''s weight was 72 kilograms, and height was 70 inches. The patient''s concurrent conditions included non-alcohol user, and non-smoker, and other pre-existing medical conditions included the patient had no known allergies and no history of drug abuse or illicit drug usage. The patient was healthy and did not have any medical issue before getting vaccinated. The patient received covid-19 vaccine ad26.cov2.s (suspension for injection, intramuscular, and batch number: 1808980 expiry: UNKNOWN) dose was not reported, 1 total administered to right deltoid (arm) on 08-APR-2021 for prophylactic vaccination. No concomitant medications were reported. On 22-APR-2021, 2 weeks post vaccination, the patient experienced numbness on the right side of body, hallucination, unable to speak and headache. The patient was hospitalized on 22-APR-2021. Laboratory data included: CT scan (NR: not provided) small spot in brain, negative for stroke and any other condition, and MRI (NR: not provided) small spot in brain, negative for stroke and any other condition. The duration of hospitalization was 1 day. On an unspecified date in 2021,while at home the patient slept for 3 consecutive days (excessive sleep) and complained to feel very tired. Therefore after 4 days, the patient went to the hospital again, since the doctor could not find anything, he was sent back to home again and was given the following treatment medications included: Clopidogrel, ethyl Loflazepate, and Etoricoxib. Per reporter until this day the numbness is not completely gone but is mild, the patient can speak but the words that he says does not make sense (slurred speech). The patient complained of losing weight, was unable to eat and the condition was getting worse everyday. Laboratory data included: Weight (NR: not provided) loosing weight. The patient''s family would like to take him to a country for a second opinion or further check up but could not cross the border due to the pandemic. The action taken with covid-19 vaccine ad26.cov2.s was not applicable. The patient was recovering from unable to speak, and numbness on the right side of body, had not recovered from felt very tired, unable to eat, headache, hallucination, losing weight, words speaking does not make sense, and condition worsening everyday, and the outcome of slept for 3 consecutive days was not reported.
