Write-up: I had flu like symptoms for 24 hours afterwards. My arm swelled up from shoulder to elbow. I had a bright red rash that started to go away and then came back and got worse over two weeks. I have a half dollar size lump at the injection site that showed up 24 hours after the vaccine - hard like bone. Not hard like a muscle knot or something. Hot to touch - the whole rash area and itching. I went to Urgent care on the 21st -after it didn''t go away in two weeks. They prescribed Cephalexin to take 1000 mg twice a day for a week. The rash is mostly gone and heat is gone but lump is still there. And followed up on Sunday 29th. The doctor said that the hard lump might be permanent. Doctor said the rash part looked like Cellulitis. Rash and fever are gone but lump is still there.
