Write-up: Patient has had intermittent weakness since covid vaccine in April. Admitted on May 11 for weakness, stroke was ruled out. Noted to have bilateral upper and lower extremity paresthesia thought secondary to diabetes. Readmitted on May 17, began to have frequent falls with bilateral lower extremity weakness, when he stood up his legs could not hold him. MRI ruled out ischemic infarction. Diagnosed with Guillain-Barre disease and ambulatory weakness. Followed up with neurologist.
