Write-up: I had just finished a one hour walk and was feeling great when I arrived at the pharmacy for my booster vaccine at 11 a.m. By 6 p.m. I had a sore throat, cough, and swelling in my left arm. I was sick all weekend. I know the vaccine is not supposed to give you a sore throat, but this one did. How do I know? When I have a "regular" sore throat there''s a gradual build up to it. I just don''t suddenly have a sore throat. I also have the exact same sore throat I had in March 2020 when I thought I had covid - fever, shortness of breath, sore throat, cough -- but I did not qualify back then for a test because of the shortage of tests available. Don''t tell me this is just a coincidence. I got covid symptoms from this shot. Next step is to get tested to see if I actually have covid. I may get a false positive because of the symptoms.
